Now it's time to record your podcast.
INSTRUCTIONS
You are going to record a podcast with your friends (max. 4 people).
1. In order to record the audio you can use the free audio recorder app AUDACITY
. It will let you record your voice, edit it, add special effects, add background music and much more. And it's really easy to use.
2. What is the podcast going to be about? Well, you have to imagine that you have spent a year studying abroad in a foreign country. Now you have returned to Spain and you want to give advice to future travellers.
3. Spin the wheel to see the country you are going to talk about:
You can ask your teacher to project the wheel so every group in your class has a different country. Alternatively, you can also ask your teacher to distribute the countries or select different ones for you. The only important factor is that the countries must be in different climate zones.
4. Once you have your country, you must find out the climate zone where it is located and search for information about the climate there. In the previous sections you can find some information on the characteristics of the climate zones and you can also read some very general information about each country here: https://www.nationmaster.com/country-info/stats/Geography/Climate
5. Prepare your podcast:
a) You have to tell future travellers what clothes they need to bring for each season. For that, you will need to tell them about the climate conditions (temperature, humiodity, precipitation, winds...).
b) You also need to inform future travellers about the landscapes they're going to find there.
c) Finally, yo need to give them some piece of advice about the best accommodation. This does not mean a hotel LOL! This means that you need to describe how the ideal house for that type of climate would be like. For example if your country suffers floods during the wet season, it would be ideal that your house is above the ground.
d) Remember that each person in the group MUST record a part of the podcast.
6. Record your podcast and add especial effects and background music. This will get you a bigger audience!
7. Upload your podcast to the following website and share it with your teacher and classmates:

8. After finishing, it's time to self-assess your work. Download the "Self-assessment Learning pill" document from the section FILE ATTACHMENTS below and see your score! Your teacher will assess you using the rubric that is also included in the FILE ATTACHMENTS section.
